Various opportunities have risen for over the summer.
So I am preparing for these.
Borrowing ready images from magazines I imagined a garment.
Gaining a rough idea of what I'm trying to make.
Before going to GFW I visited various textile shops on Berwick Street in London.
The best was the Cloth House.
So many beautiful fabrics to choose from.
Inspiration has been coming from all over.
I flick through a little cheapy mag that comes with the newspaper and really like the colour palette they choose in their layout.
After finally finding out who designed the skirt in the last post
(thanks to ashley, THANKS AGAIN!!!!)
The label Calla has inspired me with their beautiful colours and prints.
Whilst flicking through the ASOS mag, I came across these images from the Illamasque ads.
The colours are so vibrant. Similar to that I have worked with in the last project.
I then begin matching up prints and colours from the last project.
Images i keep coming back to:
As for garment silhouette, I cannot get over Michael Bolton Heatons floaty outlines that clash so well with the boxy jacket.

I would be a horrible fashion designer - I'd be so indecisive, I mean look at all the great things you are posting!
Would it be completely pathetic if I said I am TOTALLY Looking forward to your future design. Those pictures of those luscious color combinations and the ethereal-ity of it all is making me anxious. I love the silhouette you chose.

Woww.... wonderful post indeed. I love how the colors splash together with each other, and the feeling that they're kinda fading away. Wonderful....
AMAZING! I'm super gawking over those first two photos!
